Welcome to Massage Therapy at Health In Balance

Introducing Steven Selode, MPT

My name is Steven and I am a licensed massage therapist of 14 years. I am a graduate from Herzing University/Lakeside School of Massage Therapy. I enjoy working with those with chronic conditions such as headaches/migraines, frozen shoulder, thoracic outlet syndrome, sciatic pains and others. I also enjoy working with athletes, expecting mothers, and post op clients. I have a therapeutic touch and I incorporate stretching within my sessions and tailor them to each persons needs. I look forward to working and meeting you all at Health in Balance!

Learn More About Steven:

1. What is something you’re passionate about outside of work?

I am passionate about health whether its eating healthy or trying to stay active and exercising.

2. What’s something you’ve accomplished that you’re super proud of?

Buying and owning a home and maintaining it by myself which in itself can be a lot of work doing it alone.

3. What’s your favorite way to spend the weekend?

I like to relax whether its gardening, bonfires or gaming on the computer. Some weekends I may do small trips up north to visit family.

4. What’s your favorite sports team or athlete?

I used to be more into watching sports not so much now, but I'd have to say Packers if anything.

5. What’s the most interesting place you’ve ever been?

If I had to say my favorite place I've been to was in Playa Del Carmen in Mexico we visited a place called XPLORER which had UTVs, spelunking and exploring caves and natural sink holes where you can swim and zip line in and out of them.

6. Who would you choose if you could pick one person, living or dead, to have dinner with?

That's hard to say... I'd have to pick John F Kennedy

7. What hobby would you like to try if you had the time?

I've always said that I wanted to learn how to play guitar and perhaps start or be in a band.

8. If you could learn any language, which one would it be and why?

I'd say German because of how fun it sounds just hearing it spoken out loud.

9. What did you want to be when you were a kid?

I wanted to be a policeman

10. What's your favorite movie soundtrack?

Forest Gump, lots of good tracks!
